Every job requires us to pay close attention to detail, yet this home in the Bridger Canyon demanded a total investment in the smallest particulars. Many of the trim details drawn up on this project played more than just an aesthetic role. Four beautiful 16”x18” beams reclaimed from a barn in the northwest serve as talking pieces in the living room and also as major contributors to the structural integrity of the entire home. On the exterior, the blueprints called for the facia to not only put a trimmed look on the roofline, but also to reinforce the home’s frame. Fusing a home’s structure into the refined details makes it mandatory that every step of the building method be perfect before moving on to the next. Any oversight or mistake becomes apparent in the finished product. We enjoyed the challenge this project threw at us and feel that our success is evident in seamless beam joints and straight trim lines.
